Colin - Alto & Soprano Sax I have been playing the Saxophone seriously for 11 years and have played in Big Bands, Dance Bands, Wind Bands, Marching Bands and a number of Jazz Bands. The music we play can include Smooth Jazz numbers such as "Know You By Heart" by Dave Koz, also Standard Jazz numbres such as Am I Blue and Summertime. We also play a very slow and effective Ella Fitzgerrald number called "Angel Eyes which has a very simple and light piano backing but is ideal for the Sax. We can liven things up with a moderately fast swing arrangement of Blue Moon or some Fast Latin Dance music, 70's 80's or 90's Pop Hits or Slow Ballads, and depending on the music being played, I can use appropriate effects on the Saxophone to produce a truly memorable sound. |

Val - Vocalist & Alto Sax I have been singing as long as I can remember. I particularly like to sing Jazz Ballads and Love Songs and also enjoy improvising in the Jazz numbers from time to time. Autumn Leaves is one of my current favourites and Eva Cassidy has been the inspiration behind the style in which we have created our arrangement for this tune. Singing duets with the Saxophone is a real joy and particularly along with my husband Colin.

If you have particular musical requirements, and we can get the music, we would be happy to include a few numbers that may be close to your heart. Please do not hesitate to ask.
In addition, if you have any musical skills and would like to air them, we can make the performances interactive and would work with you to fit you into the performance whilst providing moral support on the Saxophone. Please give notice of this if required.
THE SOUND
We do not provide music that will damage the ear drums. We will generate enough sound for you to be able to enjoy and hear the music clearly. You will hear the nuances yet be able to hear yourself think and even hold a conversation if you wish to.
This is achieved using a new PA System developed by Bose, a top of the line 250W Bose Radiator PA System.
The system is composed of a Cylindrical Radiator® loudspeaker. The audience members hear the sound come from the same direction as the player, and enjoy the deeper appreciation of the music that results. The sound is radiated evenly across the stage and throughout the audience with little change in tone or level no matter where you stand or sit. There's much less reverberation generated because these speakers do not send much sound to the upper walls and ceiling, resulting in significantly higher clarity.
